Candidacy for Partial Dentures

How Do Partial Dentures Work?

There are two types of partial dentures available: removable and implant-supported.

For removable partial dentures, Dr. Carpenter will take precise measurements and images of your jaws. This information will be used to fabricate your custom partial dentures, which can take two to four weeks. Small clasps, either made of metal or another material, hold the denture in place. Once your partial denture is ready, Dr. Carpenter will examine your bite to ensure that the denture fits correctly.
